Remembering a great coach, executive and family man.
It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Paul Marubashi who had a lasting impact on so many people within the Durham West Hockey Association. Paul was a tireless volunteer who coached his daughter Megan, continued coaching as a non parent and joined the Executive as our Director of Equipment.
Sadly Paul suffered a debilitating heart attack in Oct of 2016 and his family continued his legacy as a giving and caring individual (see link below). Our thoughts go out to Paul’s extended family including his wife Sharon, son Aaron (wife Yuli) and his daughter Megan.
