Hockey & COVID-19 Update
The DWGHA Executive met this week to discuss the future of hockey at Durham West for the remainder of the 2020-21 season.

We are meeting weekly to ensure we're on top of any new developments.

We thank you all for your patience while we navigate these uncertain times.

Like you, we all want to see the girls back on the ice and playing the game they love.

Junior House League

Junior HL has been suspended pending notice from Public Health. We're expecting to introduce development skates to keep the girls having fun and on the ice.

Senior House League
At this time, we've decided to cancel our Senior house league program for the remainder of the season. All players should have received notice via email on Thursday, January 21.

Rep
We are hopeful that Durham will return to a COVID Zone that allows us to return to the ice. If needed, we're able to extend the season to May 2021.

We're awaiting word from the Province and Durham Public Health to guide our next steps. We are also awaiting word from the Town of Ajax about additional ice needed to accommodate our teams as Pickering has removed their ice from Don Beer Arena.

Once we have direction from both, we will be sure to let you know as soon as possible.
