Congratulations to DWGHA Alum Darby Smith
Durham West is extremely proud of Darby Smith being invited to referee at the U18 Esso Cup National championship this past week in Prince Albert Saskatchewan. Darby proved she’s one of the best officials earning the referee assignment for the Gold Medal game. Prior to the Esso Cup she was also selected to officiate the U15AA Provincials Gold Medal Game.
Darby is an alumni DW Jr player and past Elite level coach with Durham West U18AA. She is a role model for our young officials and is always approachable.
We look forward to seeing her around the rink next season!
