Our U11BB team recently showed that their spirit extends far beyond the rink by holding a tremendously successful donation drive for the Super Sophia Project!
The Super Sophia Project is an incredible local organization dedicated to bringing comfort and smiles to children in local hospitals by providing them with boxes filled with toys, activities, and clothing.
Thanks to the generosity and hard work of the U11BB players and their families, the team managed to collect enough items to fill three overflowing boxes! Their dedication ensured a huge variety of wonderful gifts are now heading to children who need a little extra love and distraction during their hospital stays.
A huge thank you to every player, parent and supporter who contributed to this fantastic cause. Your collective effort truly exemplifies the community spirit of the Durham West Girls Hockey League!
