Tryout Details
Registration for tryouts is now open!! All players wanting to tryout for a team with the DWGHA will need to register and purchase a tryout card. The cost for the tryout card is $65 for U11-U18 and $45 for U9 and U22A which covers all tryout skates at the age level (payable by Credit Card only and non-refundable). This is a tryout package only and will not initiate a Home Association transfer.

Please register by following the link above (RAMP) and clicking on Available Participant Packages and then Register Now for the 2024-25 Tryout Card in the age group you will be trying out for as follows. (
Please note this is listed under the current 2023-2024 season as the new season in RAMP does not start until tryouts are completed):
U9 (2016, 2017)
U11 (2014, 2015)
U13 (2012, 2013)
U15 (2010, 2011)
U18 (2007, 2008, 2009)
U22 (2003 - 2006)
PERMISSION TO TRYOUT:
Non DWGHA members (anyone registered with another association for this current season) will require a Permission To Tryout (PTT) in order to attend tryouts. You will need to request this from your current association and bring with you to the tryout skates. Any currently registered DWGHA member looking to try out for another organization can request their forms at the following link:

Please allow a minimum of 24 hours to process these requests - requests will not be processed on same day so please plan accordingly**
TRYOUT SCHEDULE:
Rep tryouts for the 2024/25 season are set to begin on April 17th after completion of the current OWHA season. The tryout schedule can be found here:

TRYOUT RESULTS:
Each player is required to check in at the sign in table before every tryout. Upon your first sign in you will receive a Helmet Sticker. This number will be used as your unique identifier for the entire tryout process. Tryout results will be posted on our main page under the banner Tryout Results each evening by 10:00 PM or within 3 hours of the end of your skate with the sticker number of all players invited back and any details for the next skate.
