Silver at Oakville Harvest Classic
Atom AA take home silver at first tournament of the season.
Congratulations to the Durham West Atom AA team for taking home the silver medal at the Oakville Harvest Classic this past weekend.
The girls worked hard and gelled as a team over the course of the weekend.
Finishing first in their loop after round robin play the girls faced a very tough Brampton team in the semi finals. After winning an excellent game the team moved on to play Markham Stouffville in the finals. It was a great game but the team came up a bit short and ended up taking home the silver.
It was a tremendous effort by everyone and you should all be proud of what you accomplished.
