U11A, U11, 2023-2024 (Durham West Girls Hockey)

The U11A team poured the hearts out in the Bolts and Hearts Tournament this weekend. In the semi-final game they battled back from a 3 goal deficit to win the game 4-3! Then in the finals they tied up the game with 3 minutes left in 3rd period, pushing the game into overtime and then a shootout, where they won the gold medal! These girls never back down, and never give up! Way to go girls!!

To finish off the year the U11A Team did a fun family game inviting all siblings. Team White pull out the on-ice win, but all players had a great time! Happy New Year to all of our friends and family! The Bolts are ready for 2024!

October was Breast Cancer Month, so on Oct 22nd the U11A team hosted a Pink The Rink Game to raise money to support Breast Cancer Research. We are please to announce that our team raised $1,058.75 for this great cause! Great job girls!!

The U11A team battled hard during the Brock Jr Badgerfest Tournament on November 3rd-5th. After the round robin, we won the semi-final game against the Scarborough Sharks to advance to the semi-finals. In the semi-finals the girls fought right to the end, but fell short in a 1-0 game against the Oshawa Lady Generals - who went on to win the tournament. Third place finish overall. We'll get 'em next time!
