Orange Jersey Project
The Orange Jersey Project emerged from a simple idea: “What if we could use the power of sport to educate today’s young athletes?” This initiative encourages action for truth and reconciliation while helping athletes understand the true history of the Indian Residential School system in Canada. It aims to raise awareness of the intergenerational impacts of these schools and strengthen relationships between Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities.

Our U9A girls were honored to wear their jerseys and participate in these vital conversations about truth and reconciliation. This experience is not just about sport; it’s about understanding and growth. We are incredibly grateful to Dana and Samantha for their dedication in bringing this meaningful initiative to life! A special thanks to Dana & Samantha for organizing!
