We are now just hours away from the start of this year's Bolts & Hearts Tournament with 5 games kicking off Friday at 7:00 AM! Here are a few last minute updates and items:
RULES: While running 389 games across 18 different ice pads over 3 days we are committed to making best efforts to keep games running smoothly and effectively. As such all games will start with 3 minutes of run time for on ice warm up and run straight into puck drop - the clock will remain running until the first game stoppage. Please see updated Rule #3 for more details.
ARENA ROOM KEYS: Don Beer, Chestnut Hill and Ajax Community Centre will have room keys available at the convener desk. A representative from your team will be required to leave car keys or an ID in order receive a key. Oshawa and Scarborough Canlan do not have room keys so please be prepared to have your own lock. As a note, please always use only the assigned room for your team.
TOURNAMENT SWAG: We would like to thank our tournament sponsors CWENCH and GATORADE for providing swag for this years tournament! Please have a team representative pick up your team package at the Tournament Headquarters at Don Beer Arena (Upstairs above Pad 1). Any team that ordered Tournament Lanyards will also be picked up at headquarters.
TOURNAMENT VENDORS: A number of vendors will be at the tournament headlined by our Apparel Vendor Fine Designs located at both Don Beer & ACC, and AC Studios Sports Photography who will be at Don Beer providing professional individual and team photos for purchase.
RESTAURANT OPTIONS: Boston Pizza Bowmanville (see the
Boston Pizza tab for details) and Magwyers Pub in Ajax (15% off any entree with beverage purchase) are offering discounted rates for participants and families all weekend long.
