Durham West Girls Hockey

Congratulations to our U15BB team who battled through an number of obstacles to snag the bronze medal in the Canadian Cup hosted in Montreal. The team was challenged by tough opponents, early game starts and very inclement weather and road conditions over the course of the weekend. They faced some familiar Ontario rivals in the Burlington Barracudas, Kanata Rangers and Clarington Flames. Their round robin play led them to a 7AM ice time for the bronze medal match-up against the Flames where they impressively put up a 3-0 win to bring home the bronze - great job girls! Let's Go ...

Congratulations to our U15B team for winning Gold in the Cambridge Roadrunner New Years Classic! They finished off an undefeated 3-0-2 weekend with a 2-0 win in the championship game over the Walkerton Capitals - great job girls!! Let's Go Lightning!

Congrats to our U15AA team for bringing home Silver in this year's Lady Senators Winter Showcase Tournament! After cruising into the final with a 5-0 record the team lost a tight 3-2 game to the Central York Panthers to come home with the Silver - great job girls! Lets Go Lightning!

Congrats to our U18AA team for bringing home Silver in this year's Lady Senators Winter Showcase Tournament! After finishing 2-1 in the round robin, the team took care of business in both the quarter and semi finals to book their spot in the final. The final game was an intense back and forth battle that had to be decided in a shootout where the Bolts lost a heartbreaker to the host Ottawa Senators - awesome job girls! Let's Go Lightning!

Durham West looks forward to once again hosting our annual Bolts & Hearts Rep Tournament on Family Day Weekend February 13-15th, 2026!
