Durham West Girls Hockey

The U15A team spent time this past weekend wrapping presents at the mall in support of the Durham Children's Aid Foundation. For a small donation, shoppers could drop their items to be wrapped by the girls with all proceeds going to charity. Great job girls - Let's Go Lightning!

Our U9A Durham West team recently demonstrated that their heart and teamwork shine just as brightly off the ice as they do on it by volunteering at the St. Paul on-the-Hill Community Food Bank! The St. Paul on-the-Hill Food Bank is a vital local organization that helps support families in need by providing essential food, supplies, and care within our community.

Congratulations to U18AA for winning Silver in this year's USA Canada Cup Series in Waterloo! The team finished the round robin in 2nd place out of 36 teams with a 4-0 record and 13-2 GF/GA and took home Silver after a loss to Stanstead College Prep in the Championship Final.  Let's Go Lightning!!

Congratulations to our U11BB team for taking Silver in the Whitby Tournament of Heroes this year! The team went 3-1 with 3 shutouts in the round robin and lost a tight game in the final to East Ottawa to come home with Silver medals - the teams third medals this year - way to go Girls! Let's Go Lightning!!

Congrats to our U18BB2 team who came home with the Gold in the Girl's Grinch w/Cindy Lou Tournament in Fort Wayne, IN! Let's Go Lightning!
