Olympic Inspiration: Ivanie Blondin Visits U11B
Earlier this week our U11B team was incredibly fortunate to have Ivanie Blondin, a decorated Canadian speed skater, join them to watch their game against Oshawa. Ivanie is a a four‑time Olympic medalist including Gold and Silver in Milan! Before the game, she spoke to the girls and shared some great advice, reminding them that “if you’re too focused on the results, the results won’t come. Focus on having fun, and the results will follow.”
Having someone who has competed on the world’s biggest stage take the time to support and encourage our players was truly special. It was an incredible and inspiring moment for the team!
