Peewee AA, U13, 2019-2020 (Durham West Girls Hockey)

The Peewee AA was given the opportunity to attend the PWHPA Dream Gap Tour this past weekend at Toronto’s Herb Carnegie Arena featuring Team Spooner and Team Coybe.  The girls were able to stand with Team Coyne for the national anthem. The mission of PWHPA Dream Gap Tour is to draw attention to the continued lack of opportunity and support for professional female hockey players in North America and advocate for a sustainable women’s league. 

The Peewee AA team combined their efforts to sponsor two families this holiday season!  The girls pooled together their funds, went shopping for gifts and collected food donations for two local families in need.  

The Peewee AA team hosted their pink game on October 27th.  They hosted a bake sale fundraiser as part of the day and were able to raise an amazing $715.75 for Breast Cancer awareness.

Congratulations to the Peewee AA team who defeated the Kanata Rangers in the Oshawa Lady Generals Fall Classic to take home the Gold!!!
