Feed The Need
Tonight our DW Peewee B girls did their part to help feed the needy by dropping off some much needed food to the Local Ajax Fire Stn # 2 Crew.
The Town is competing against Durham municipalities to see who can
collect the MOST non-perishable food donations for Feed the Need Durham
by September 17, 2019. The friendly competition between municipalities
was initiated by the Town of Whitby. The goal is to help more than 6,000
people (38% children) get proper nutrition via food banks, soup
kitchens and food programs each month.
