U15AA, U15, 2022-2023 (Durham West Girls Hockey)

The U15AA team took home their 4th tournament gold medal of the season at the Durham West Hearts and Bolts Tournament.  Finishing the round robin in first place, they faced a tough Pittsburgh Penn Elite team in the finals ending in a 2-0 win.  Great Job Ladies!!

The U15AA won their third Gold medal this weekend at the Toronto Aeros Holiday Classic in the U18A Division.  The team went undefeated this weekend with a 6-0-0 record.  Congratulations to the coaches and girls!  Go Lightning!

Rounding out our community engagement initiatives this holiday season.  The DWU15AA team worked together to package 150 bags for Emma's Winter Bundles.   Emma Weller's charity works to make a difference in the lives of homeless people around Ontario.  You can learn more about her fundraising efforts here www.emmaswinterbundles.com

The Durham West U15AA team raised funds to help grant life-changing wishes for Make-A-Wish Canada through our participation in the HoHoHoliday 5K 2022!The holidays remind us of the magic of what it is to be a child. Reconnecting with loved ones and celebrating traditions brings us joy. But for children with critical illnesses, hospital stays away from family, difficult treatments and uncertainties don't stop, even over the holidays.

The Durham West U15AA team worked together to support two families in need this holiday season!
