Bantam BB, U15, 2017-2018 (Durham West Girls Hockey)

These wonderful girls of this Bantam BB team have had a rockin' year!  With 4 GOLD medals and 1 SILVER medal, they have had a lot of fun! With such a great group of girls to work and learn with, the girls have had a season to remember!   We are heading to our last adventure for the season at the Brampton Tournament at the end of the month!  Let's see if we bring home another medal to add to this spectacular season we have had this year!  Great friends! Great Girls! Great Team!  Memories have been made and friendships have been created for life!

The girls came out to play in the Whitby tournament on Dec 1-3 and brought home yet another medal! This time it was Silver and it was a hard fought weekend for these girls! They went 1 win, 1 tie and 1 loss in the 3 game round robin.  Playing Barrie in the elimination game, they pulled it off from 0-0 to a 1-0 win with 18 seconds left to go in the game. Making it to the final game, it was 0-0 with Whitby scoring on a 5 on 3 with 1:40 left to go in the game. Bantam BB Brings home GOLD from Rochester!  The girls have done it again!! These girls are on fire!  After 4 round robin games, a semi final game scoring 2-1 and a final game scoring 2-1, they came out on top and were Champions once again!!!  Six straight wins on this tournament and one game going to a shoot out.  We even had a penalty shot in one of your games!  These girls certainly know how to make watching them exciting!  So proud of our girls!  What a fantastic group!  Well done again ladies, well done!! :) 

The girls showed up again for the Clarington tournament this past weekend to bring home another Gold medal!  They stared out with a 5-3 loss to Whitby in their first game but that woke everyone up and they forged ahead winning the next 3 round robin games to make it to the Semi Final vs. Stoney Creek.  That was a hard fought battle having a 1-0 game until finally with just under 3 minutes to go, we scored an empty net goal and the game final was 2-0.  This allowed us to have another shot at Whitby on the final game for GOLD.  The game was 1-1 after three periods of hockey and still after the ...

The Bantam BB girls do it again and bring home Gold in the Oshawa Fall Classic!!  Having played 4 hard fought games and making it to the finals, they ended up winning their final game 3-0 against the Syracuse Nationals!   Well done ladies, well done!!!   Looking forward to a fantastic season and lots of fun along the way!!!
