Bantam BB Brings Home SILVER from Whitby!
The girls came out to play in the Whitby tournament on Dec 1-3 and brought home yet another medal! This time it was Silver and it was a hard fought weekend for these girls! They went 1 win, 1 tie and 1 loss in the 3 game round robin. Playing Barrie in the elimination game, they pulled it off from 0-0 to a 1-0 win with 18 seconds left to go in the game. Making it to the final game, it was 0-0 with Whitby scoring on a 5 on 3 with 1:40 left to go in the game. That was a hard fought battle having a 0-0 game until the end of the third period.
Another medal for our girls and a great weekend with excellent team work all around.
This has our girls with a fantastic record! 5 Tournaments - 4 GOLD medals and 1 SILVER medal! These girls rock!! Well done ladies!!!
